28 E12330 Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana Any Indian Citizen who has a business plan for a non-farm sector income generating activity such as manufacturing, processing, trading or service sector and whose credit need is less than Rs 10 lakh can approach either a Bank, MFI, or NBFC for availing of Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency Ltd. (MUDRA) loans under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY). MUDRA is registered as a Company under the Companies Act 2013 and as a Non-Banking Finance Institution with the RBI o MUDRA has been initially formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Small Industries Development bank of India (SIDBI) with 100% capital being contributed by it. Presently, the authorized capital of MUDRA is 1000 crores and paid up capital is 750 crore, fully subscribed by SIDBI.

29 E12330 Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana MUDRA supports the finance Institutions which are in the business of lending to micro / small business entities engaged in manufacturing, trading and service activities. MUDRA loans are extended by banks, NBFCs, MFIs and other eligible financial intermediaries as notified by MUDRA Ltd. Types of loans provided Under the aegis of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana, MUDRA has already created the following products / schemes. Shishu : covering loans upto 50,000/- Kishor : covering loans above 50,000/- and upto 5 lakh Tarun : covering loans above 5 lakh and upto 10 lakh MUDRA Card is a debit card issued against the MUDRA loan account. The borrower can make use of MUDRA Card in multiple drawals and credits, so as to manage the working capital limit in cost-efficient manner and keep the interest burden minimum.

31 ATAL PENSION YOJANA The flagship social security scheme of the Government of India - Atal Pension Yojana (APY) - has completed five years of implementation and garnered over 2.2 crore subscribers. Key Points Target Segment: The scheme was launched on 9th May, 2015, with the objective of creating a universal social security system for all Indians, especially the poor, the under-privileged and the workers in the unorganised sector. Administered By: Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority through National Pension System (NPS). Eligibility: Any citizen of India can join the APY scheme. The age of the subscriber should be between years. The contribution levels would vary and would be low if a subscriber joins early and increases if she joins late.

32 Benefits: It provides a minimum guaranteed pension ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs 5000 on attaining 60 years of age. The amount of pension is guaranteed for lifetime to the spouse on death of the subscriber. In the event of death of both the subscriber and the spouse, the entire pension corpus is paid to the nominee. Tax Benefits: Contributions to the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) are eligible for tax benefits similar to the National Pension System (NPS) Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) is the statutory Authority established by an enactment of the Parliament, to regulate, promote and ensure orderly growth of the National Pension System (NPS). It works under the Department of Financial Services under the Ministry of Finance. National Pension System NPS is a government-sponsored pension scheme. By Feb 2021, crore accounts out of the total crore accounts opened under the scheme belong to women account Holders Salient features PMJDY was launched initially for a period of 4 years (in two phases) on 28th August In 2018, the scheme was extended with new features. Itis the National Mission for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely a basic savings & deposit accounts, remittance, credit, insurance, pension in an affordable manner. Under the scheme, a basic savings bank deposit (BSBD) account can be opened in any bank branch or Business Correspondent (Bank Mitra) outlet, by persons not having any other account.

Accident Insurance Cover of Rs.1 lakh (enhanced to Rs. 2 lakhto new PMJDY accounts opened after ) is available with RuPay card issued to the PMJDY account holders.
