Congratulations to Tyler C Myers, Peter Doumit, Edelmiro Gonzalez, David Espinosa and Jacob Bissett for joining St. Rose of Lima Council CONGRATULATIONS to the newly elected Knights of Columbus Officers for the fraternal year, They are Rick Hartle, Grand Knight; Steve Sevier, Dep. Grand Knight: Scott Rich, Chancellor; Jim Sorley Recorder; Joe Neid, Treasurer; Pat Gotti, Advocate; Alton Fisher, Warden; Kevin Hurd & Chris Swist; Guards and Roberto Cuevas, Jeff Motta, & Dennis Martinez; Trustees. The Knights will be selling DONUTS TO GO on Sunday, JUNE 27 TH after Mass in the Rotunda next the kitchen exit. These donuts are made fresh in our Church s kitchen that morning and are made from scratch. Please come and get your donuts to go. The Knights of Columbus invite you to join us in PRAYING THE ROSARY ON FRIDAY, JULY 2 TND AT 6:00 PM at St. Rose of Lima. The Rosary is a Scripture-based prayer that leads us to Jesus through Mary. The word rosary means garland of roses, which has been interpreted into the rosary of today, a string of beads. Mother Mary, also known as the Lady of the Rosary, urged everyone to pray the rosary to help people grow in their faith, convert sinners, and bring about world peace. The Knights of Columbus MEMBERSHIP MEETING is TUESDAY, JULY 6 TH AT 7PM in the Social Center. Our annual final nominations and elections of Officers for the Fraternal year will occur on this date. All Knights are encouraged to attend. Please come and help select your leadership for next year. Social distancing will be observed and masks are required. ITT is a religious group for families with kids of all ages. The group hopes to strengthen families with children at home and create a more vibrant church community in our home parishes and throughout northern Utah. 5 Latest Covid-19 Guidelines At Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church Effective June 5 & 6, The dispensation from Sunday Mass and Holydays of Obligation is lifted effective the weekend of June 5-6, 2021, the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. The dispensation still applies to those who are sick, elderly, homebound, experiencing great difficulties or serious risks/concerns in coming to the Church. 2. Beginning June 5-6, 2021, the wearing of face covering or a mask, will be optional. For those who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 can choose not to wear them. I recommend those who have not been vaccinated or feel uncomfortable, should continue wearing a mask. 3. Distribution of the Precious Blood remains suspended during the Pandemic. 4. Holy Communion will continue to be offered only on the hand and receiving on the tongue remains suspended until further notice. 5. For in-person gatherings for events or activities will slowly resume throughout the summer. We have to be careful as we open up to more gatherings, as we are still in the Pandemic. 6. We will continue to offer live-stream Masses for Sundays and weekdays. Últimas Reglas Generales de Covid-19 en Iglesia Católica Santa Rosa de Lima Efectivas al 5 y 6 de junio de La dispensa de la Misa Dominical y de los Días Festivos de Obligación finaliza a partir del fin de semana del 5 y 6 de junio De 2021, día de la Fiesta del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo. La dispensa sigue vigente para los enfermos, ancianos, y para las personas encerradas en casa, que tengan grandes dificultades o riesgos/preocupaciones graves para asistir a la Iglesia. 2.A partir del 5 y 6 de junio de 2021, el uso de cubre bocas o mascarilla, será opcional. Aquellos que se hayan vacunado completamente contra el COVID-19 podrán elegir no usarla. Re comiendo a los que no se hayan vacunado o se sientan incómo dos, que sigan usando el cubre bocas. 3. La distribución de la Sangre Preciosa permanece suspendida durante la Pandemia. 4.La Sagrada Comunión se seguirá ofreciendo únicamente en la mano y la recepción en la lengua queda suspendida hasta nuevo aviso. 5.Las reuniones en persona como eventos o actividades en la Iglesia se reanudarán poco a poco durante el verano. Tenemos que ser cuidadosos con las reuniones, ya que aún estamos en Pandemia. 6.Seguiremos ofreciendo la transmisión de Misas en vivo los domingos y los días de la semana.
