As we become one, unified parish, St. Oscar Romero, on February 1st, 2021, we call upon our parishioners to help us plan our future together! McLellan Scholarship Awarded Each year St. John School gives out Fr. McLellan Scholarship Awards. This award goes to two sixth grade students who embody the ideals of former pastor, Fr. Michael McLellan. Fr. McLellan was a strong supporter of Catholic education and at St. John School and we want to keep his memory alive. Each recipient receives $500 a year for both 7 th and 8 th grades. The scholarship is generously funded through the St. John School Foundation. Although each of us responds uniquely to grief, we can draw strength from those who are walking a comparable journey.
